That’s not an insanely detailed Hot Toys figure up there. Nor is it the product of a big-time Hollywood special effects division. This here Ant-Man costume was made by two very talented people.

Rick Louis is the guy wearing the Ant-Man get-up in the video above, which was crafted by Eliza Eldredge of the Eldritch Arts studio. [Correction: An earlier version of this post said that the costume was made entirely by Eldritch Arts. It was brought to my attention that the helmet and attached hoses were made by Inception Studio. I regret leaving out their credit.] It looks almost exactly like the togs Paul Rudd sported as Scott Lang in last year’s Ant-Man movie and really makes it seem like Marvel’s shrinking superhero could exist in the real world.
